I probably should have posted this earlier, but several states in the midwest are in desperate need of all the help they can get. In the last month, they’ve gone through several storms and tornados causing massive floods that have forced many people to evacuate their homes. I just read an article about how the American Red Cross has already depleted its national disaster fund, and will be taking out a loans to pay for the relief efforts going on right now. Feel free to link to any other relief organizations that you guys are aware of or involved with that are going strong with their relief efforts in the Midwest.

Thank you for creating a post about this disaster. I’m originally from Iowa and my family and most of my friends are still there and dealing with the flooding. I appreciate your to this devastating time.
Living in Kentucky, the Bowling Green area, we get hit pretty hard with wind, not so much lots of rain as in the posted picture, however, the clean up from wind damage is just as devistating. I live in a large mobie home/refurbished home and when the winds hit, makes me so nervous since I have no basement. I continue to pray for those who have been hit hard by tornados and rain/flooding. I know the apparel manufactuing company I work for donates alot to victims and their families who are without clothing.
