Troy Duffy created an awesome action movie dealing the balance of good and evil in the world. It’s about two Irish brothers who reluctantly find themselves in this battle with the Russian Mafia. Though they’re not very believable, Boondock Saints has some CRAZY action sequences. William Dafoe’s stupefying performance is reason in itself to watch this movie. I guarantee you that his over-the-top character is gonna make you crack up.
Not only that, but there’s an interesting documentary, “Overnight” that goes into the struggles of making a movie. Troy Duffy was a typical bartender who came to Los Angeles to make it big in Hollywood. And overnight, everything seemed on track when he struck a deal with Mr. Weinstein. Little did Troy know the true power of Hollywood. “We’re sorta like the 7/11. We’re not always doing business, but we’re always open”.
Classic. I love this movie. The intro-song is permanently stuck in my brain
