Phelps - 8 for 8!!!

Have you guys been watching the olympics? Mr. Phelps is doing some amazing things. I know he’s been favored in most of his races, but there’s still been some crazy finishes. The first 4 x 100 Free relay was amazing how Jason Lezak came back to catch the French team in the last 25 meters. Then last night, Phelps had another unbelievable finish out touching the Cavic by one one-hundredth of a second.
It’s also kind of weird how some countries just dominate the these odd little sports that most people only see in the Olympics. Like badminton and table tennis, I swear it’s all Chinese people representing their countries playing Chinese people from other countries. But I guess thats what happens when Chinese people account for about a fifth of the world’s population.

I notice that too. America is doing well in swimming because they seem to stay in water….alot. Jamaicans are doing well in Running because it seems they run alot. Chinese do well in gymnastics its seems because they have alot of acrobatics in there culture. Its really interesting to watch.

Michael Phelps is a great athlete. The 4×100 free relay was the hightlight for me so far. It was an amazing race.

Wow, the shape of Phelps’ body in the water….reminds me of the photo finish for the women’s 100 meters last night. These sprinters are so powerful. Did you see the little Jamaican girl who won? She was so excited! And the Jamaican guy who won the 100 meters and just played around at the end? That was so fun. Yay for Jamaica.

Yeah, Sung, tell us about your swimming days….

yay for little countries that win at the non glamorous sports - like NZ in the rowing hehe

didn’t catch Phelps, every one here was supporting Park Taehwan and he got a couple of medals so that was cool.

I have really been into the Olympics this year, not sure why???? Michael Phelps is an amazing swimmer, it’s like his body was made to swim. I really enjoyed the Men’s Beach Volleyball, I love that sport. Go Rogers/Dalhausser, Team USA. Sung, swim? That’s awesome, do tell.

Badminton and table tennis maybe are odd little sports that most people only see in the Olympics for the American. But for people in Malaysia and Singapore, almost every household child plays badminton and table tennis outside their yard or in the stadium during their spare time.
