Korean Cowboys!!!!

If there’s one kind of movie I love, it’s a good ol fashioned western.  I found this trailer for this new Korean movie on youtube, and it looks awesome!

It looks like an update of Good Bad and the Ugly!  They showed it at Cannes this year and hopefully it comes over here soon!

I used to watch westerns all the time… the hour long ones when I was a kid… my favorite western movies are “Silverado” and the remake they did last year of “3:10 to Yuma”. I’ve been interested in the remake of “The Magnificent Seven” but I haven’t caught up with it yet… it’s on my list… my very long list. =)

I want to see this so badly. If anyone knows how we can get Asian movies on DVD region 1, please let me know. It is so difficult to get them. Thanks, Janet.

don’t know if you have seen this site - www.mysoju.com but it is a good website in English where on can watch subtitled Korean drama/movies, Japanese drama/movies, Taiwanese drame/movies and HK drama. It’s great, imo anyways.

I like the old cowboy movies, i’ll definitely keep an eye out for this if it ever hit the market over here. I absolutely love the Asian horror movies and anyway no one can create horror movies better than the Asians :-D

WoW! Awesomeness!
I want to see this as well… I wasn’t a hard core western fan, but every now and then. How could you not love the Magnificent Seven? Plus the book Blood Meridian is really good as well!

Janet, do you partake in all of the Apple-ly goodness as well? Or, are you an PC user? There maybe help for your problem.

Well this is cool! The good, the bad and the ugly was one of my favorites. I enjoyed anything with Eastwood in it though.

6/30 hay , sung if you ever read these commits iv got the perfect place for an western, not only an western but the one you need to star in, this location is in utah, arches national park. arches national park has the highest concentration of sand stone in the world. more than 80 of these natural wonders have formed over millions of years.the park floats on a salt bed, which once liquefied under the pressure exerted by therock aboveit.about 300milion years ago, this salt layer bulged upward, cracking the sandstone above.over time the rocks eroded, leaving long fins’ of rock.as these fins eroded, the hard overhead rock formed arches, which raaange today from the solid looking turret arch to thegraceful delicate and land scape arches.some of my favorit arches are the , park avenue and the courthouse towers ,the window section, and devils garden.and the town of moabi than some of john wayne weaters were shot thereif you white water raft then check out moab, moabis a major center for white water rafting on the colorado river. you really need to than about it you in an western.

Why did I just get a Shanghai Noon moment right then?

Actually, I really do like “The Duke” he’s quite something indeed.

Personally, I’d rather watch an old Kurosawa then an old cowboy movie but that’s just me.
