Jump!!!

Hey guys,

I don’t usually feel it necessary to display my work here, but I really feel compelled to introduce you to Jump shoes. Jump is a New York based designer shoe company that I’ve had the pleasure of working with them for the past couple months. The reason why I feel I need to talk about them, is because companies like this are very rare. Not only do they put out very original products, but they truly care about the art and experience of their journey as a shoe company. They have just commissioned a mural in their base store in New York’s Soho by the artists Foox. And during my last trip out to New York we shot 6 short films that feature their shoes that will be released in July.

Here is their blog… http://jumpshoes.wordpress.com

Not only that, but they’ve also been running a promotion to help earthquake victims in China.

I checked the blog.. very beautiful display. Anxious to watch the short films.

I understand the part of you not feel necessary to display your work here, but for us is always interesting to know what have you been doing, Sung.

I just read the Jump Shoes blog and commented. I’m glad you mentioned this here…..otherwise I wouldn’t have known. Looking forward to the short films. I may have some other ways to help you promote this as well…

You could look at it like this… what else is a blog for if not to introduce others to who you are or what is important to you? The work you choose to support is a facet.

I checked out the blog and saw a pair of silver boots, flats of course, that did set me to drooling. I may do some backup research on those. As to being flats, that is a requirement for me. I am very tall and not at all graceful… me in heels would be like watching a giraffe in rollerskates… fascinating and pitiful until you realize the giraffe could fall on you.

watch “BEAT” then write a post on it…feel free to free assimilate ur most recent educational asia tour alongside the tears from “moment to remember”…as all part of one long tangent-ed stream of consciousness entitled “DO U KNOW WHO I AM?”

here is a local cause. my city has over 30 feet of water in it. Tens of thousands have lost their homes and all of their possessions. there is only one water pump for a city of 124000, leaving us in critical need of drinking water. moving west in our state we had a torando hit a boyscout camp killing at least 4 but injuring most of the kids there. we have leevies breaking flooding places instantly. our state can use all the help it can get. the damage in my city alone is $780 MILLION.

Sung you are just awesome. Keep up the good work. BTW, while surfing Youtube, I found a video devoted to “sexy Korean men.” Guess who was in the video? HAHA…we love you Sung….

does this blog come with subtitles as an option?

or a legend?

or a dictionary?

I vote for subtitles… less work on my part.

=)

I really love some of the boots. Really different and awesome. I plan on taking a trip to NY to specifically do some shopping at Jump.

Thanks Sung for the exposure of this clothing line.

It’s great that Jump was doing this and you were part of promoting the company. I was living in China when the quake hit. One of my friends lives in Sichuan Province and she saw so many people who were dead or injured in the quake. She was one of the lucky ones and didn’t get hurt. There are still a lot of people there who need help, but it’s very slow to get it to them.
