This movie looks interesting. Clint Eastwood is the definition of an icon. Yet he continues to create and explore issues and worlds that we most people in the “industry” shy away from. I’m excited to see a movie like this and I hope the rest of America will be too.

Unfortunately I cannot view the preview. I’ll have to wait until I get on a computer. But I have to agree with Clint’s direction of movies.
A typical Hollywood movie has a happy ending. And I would like to see more of some grit in these movies. I love how Better Luck Tomorrow ended, it just took a turn and had my mouth on the floor.
Million Dollar Baby is one of those movies that I cannot watch again. The end tore me up. I have never cried like that before. While I love that movie, it gets too me so much so that I can’t watch it, especially when it gets to the scene where she breaks her neck.
There are movies that move me, like Million Dollar Baby, and Better Luck Tomorrow, but that one also had a bit of disturbance for me as well, because it was so unexpected. I love when a movie has me on my toes.
Lastly, I’ll say the most disturbing movie I have ever seen and will probably never watch again is The Talented Mr. Ripley. The acting was unspeakable excellent which is probably Why it disturbs me so.
Ok, now I’ll go watch the trailer on YouTube and then add another comment
That’s an interesing trailer. I’ll keep on the lookout for more about that one.
I love movies… I always have. It seems like there is always turmoil either surrounding or within and I like to step outside of myself and see something different.
I prefer the happy endings because they give me hope that they do exist. I like watching movies about heros that come through. I don’t mind a surprise ending if a justice has been done or the character has learned a good lesson or come through to a better place… even if it isn’t exactly a happy place. I don’t mind the thought provokers… if the lesson is useful or necessary and not just gratuitous.
I don’t like the surprise endings that are just done to shake up the viewer… mostly I feel shaken and stirred quite enough. =) I’m not a big fan of tearjerkers… and I definitely do not like to root for someone the whole movie for them to just die in the end… I find that extremely rude. lol.
I suppose my taste in movies is basic… my brother has the more artistic bend in his taste in movies… a more elevated palate. We can usually find something we both like or want to see when he visits.
Mr. Eastwood always do great in everything he directs.
Just saw the trailer. I can’t wait for this to come out. Clint just loves to take things to the next level with each project. “Stepping out of the box”. And you have to respect/admire someone who has the guts to do that.
Growing up two of my older brothers were big Clint fans. They never missed any thing he was in and still don’t. That and star track. Well My other 7 older brothers would have the same thing on they where watching. Ther clint movies. So I kind of guess all my brothers like him. My younger brothers heard of clinnt but don’t watch him.
Well what I am saying I got so sick of clint at one point of time because that was main thing playing in my house when I was little. Brothers would play it over and over again.
The trailer looks good. I do want to see it.
i grew up on Mr. Eastwood’s movies,i consider him ,my John Wayne,i’ll defitnely be there to see his new movie,he can be 90,i’ll still wouldn’t get him mad.lol.

MANY CLINT EASTWOOD’S MOVIE TOO I PAULPOCK HAVE SEEN AND I REMEMBER THEY ARE LIKED TO ME MUCH,BECAUSE HE’S A GUY THAT PROTECTS THE NEEDY WHEN THERE’S NEED,CLINT IS A GUY THAT HELPS PEOPLE WHEN THERE’S BAD PEOPLE. TOO TO ME LIKE CLINT EASTWOOD.THE CLINT EASTWOOD’S MOVIE ARE MADE AND DIRECTED WELL AND GOOD.
I contantly amazes me of the persona that Clint has established. he can use it in so may ways. He show people their ignorances in a way that is on their level and life changing as well. he somehow also make us want to be the person we know we can be. In this day and age predgise should not be a word allow in our vocabulary but somehow we just can’t rid ourselves of it. the meke shall inherit the earth,
