Heres a cool blog post I found about 10 different states of equilibrium. I understand how most of them work, but they’re still pretty cool. If I had some ladles like they do in the 8th one, I’d definitely like to try that one. Science is an amazing thing. It’s not everyday where you find these random ways to entertain yourself with some simple kitchen utensils.

Hmm, I want to try these myself now lol All I have to do is find all this stuff and I’m set!
I think there are books available detailing different science projects that can be reconstructed. How does one run across blogs like this? =)
The old-time quality of the pictures and the do-it-yourself project theme reminds me of the Foxfire books that teach you how to basically live like people did before any technology. Almost everything you can think of is in there, in one of those books. I saw one on Amazon that included log Cabin Building, Mountain Crafts and Foods, Planting by the Signs, Snake Lore, Hunting Tales, Faith Healing, and Moonshining.
Hey, Teresa, I remember those Foxfire books too from my old small-town library.
Sung, these pictures are fascinating. In addition to the interest from a scientific standpoint, I think there’s a spiritual lesson here too. Keep your life in balance….ooooh, I’m so deep today : )
That is pretty cool. I kind of like the 4th one. You should try to look at the pop and mentoes guys and what they can do with those things. It is really cool, they can do over 100 different things with those to items.
sorry about the spelling getting side track
What an effective way to use kitchen utensils! Looks like it might take a whole day to build, wonder what it takes to maintain! Hmm..would it be excessive if I used all the utensils in grandma’s kitchen…..
Hmm a new use for my grandmothers silverware. I thing also better go hunt for the dominoes too.
