I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Not to make any of you midwesters and eastcoasters jealous, but It was a warm one here in Southern California. What strange weather to have on the eve of winter…So there’s two big things happening this week, one is the new Jump short film- TUXEDO MAN. This is the fifth installment of six.
And two, I will be appearing at Bloomingdale’s this Saturday, December 6th, from 2-4pm to help promote the JUMP line. So if you happen to be in the Southern California area this Saturday come out and hang with me. And there’s a special promotion, if you buy a shoe, you’ll get a free limited edition gift. For any of you guys that have some time tonight, Far East Movement is having a free, live, online concert where they’ll be performing their brand new album. Just go to FM.TV at 9pm (Pacific) to watch the concert. For those of you that don’t know who they are, they’re an Asian American hip hop group based out of LA.

On another note, heres the fourth episode of the Jump Campaign.

This was a fun shoot. The police didn’t really like this militant Oakley wearing soldier in the middle of their Times Square. But if they let a naked cowboy stand there, they should let a maroon boot wearing Officer do the same.

Why do gas prices play with our emotions? A couple months ago, gas was a dollar more than what it is now. What is going on here? And why is gas almost a dollar more in certain states? There are too many reasons, too many catastrophes, too many news events, too many world conflicts, to really figure out this direct correlation. If you want to see trends, check out gasbuddy.com. But it’ll probably just lead to more questions. But with more questions, there are more answers, and with more answers there is hope. Yes we can…

Here’s an article I stumbled upon talking about what movie characters that you shouldn’t dress up as today. It might be a little late as most people should’ve gotten their costumes by now, but I’ll post it anyways. The top two really do make sense to me. Number two is Robert Downey Jr. in Tropic Thunder. As funny as he was in the movie, it just sounds like a recipe for trouble.

The number one character is the Joker (Heath Ledger) from the Dark Knight. I’m on the border with this one. On the positive side, your paying tribute to an amazing actor.

At the same time, nobody can pull it off like him, and this is likely going to be the most common costumes for guys. They did have a good suggestion though. If you really have to be Joker this halloween, you better go all out, and be Nurse Joker.

Hey guys,
I don’t usually feel it necessary to display my work here, but I really feel compelled to introduce you to Jump shoes. Jump is a New York based designer shoe company that I’ve had the pleasure of working with them for the past couple months. The reason why I feel I need to talk about them, is because companies like this are very rare. Not only do they put out very original products, but they truly care about the art and experience of their journey as a shoe company. They have just commissioned a mural in their base store in New York’s Soho by the artists Foox. And during my last trip out to New York we shot 6 short films that feature their shoes that will be released in July.
Here is their blog… http://jumpshoes.wordpress.com
Not only that, but they’ve also been running a promotion to help earthquake victims in China.
