Hey Everyone,
I just wanted to announce the launch of my new blog. For those of you who don’t know who I am, I’m just a guy who plays pretend for a living from Gainesville, Georgia. When I’m not busy playing pretend, I’m probably slaving away at my restaurant, “Saketini,” in Brentwood, California. This last year has been a hectic one. I spent most of last year on the road campaigning grassroots-style for Finishing the Game. Once the journey was over, our good ole’ writers decided to strike, which pretty much shutdown Hollywood for a good 3 to 4 months. This is when I made my first attempt at blogging. I needed to do something to satisfy my creativity, so I created Hitler’s Pager. I had a lot of fun making it, but it just got to the point where it was too much work to create all the videos. Sooooo, heres my second attempt at a blog. And don’t worry all you Hitler fans, I still intend to finish Hitler’s Pager at some point. Meanwhile, I am simply going to blog for the sake of blogging on whatever comes to mind. Whether its blogging about a dvd or blogging about a new dish at Saketini’s, I will try to keep up with it this time.
On a side note, I am going to try to do some good with this blog as well. I’ve always had a soft spot for orphans. Family is something that so many people take for granted. Parents are vital in molding what children grow up to be. Sure, everyone says they love their parents, but can you really imagine growing up with no parents whatsoever? I know I can’t. There’s something about a child with no parents that you just have to feel compassion for. So, in doing this blog (with all of the proceeds from any ads or merchandise sales), I am going to create college scholarship funds strictly for orphans. At the moment, I am looking into Orphan Foundation of America, Orphanage Outreach, or Orphan Society of America, but I’m open to any suggestions of other non-profits that I should go through.

HI, woow you are really sensitive about the childs with no parents, me too I can’t imagine growing up without my parents even if sometimes I have harsh time with them (u know I’m just a teenager)but I know they are gonna be always there for me… so that is why I’m supporting you!! by the way I’m big fan of you!! I’m so lucky to have discovered your blog, it all shows how down-to-earth you are, how human, not so ’superstarish’, it’s amazing to realise it. Another thing to be thankful for is your work in FandF: Tokyo Drift, such cool acting and btw, you may not know it but after watching it many fanfic writers started to base their characters on Han, oh how perfect you are!)
I’m not sure of how I feel about this particular subject of philanthropy. I’ve had my experience in foster homes but I’ve had my experience with adoption too. Suffice to say, I have unresolved issues. I’ll pay attention, though, and give it some thought… no closed doors.

I became a fan of yours when I watched Better Luck Tomorrow. As the only minority in my town, it was pretty exciting to see a movie with an all Asian-American cast. Thank you so much for representing Korean-Americans in the acting community.
I happened upon this blog while looking up information about The Fast and the Furious Four (which I’m very excited for). I’m a huge fan of blogs, and a huge fan of yours, so of course I subscribed. The fact that you have a soft spot for orphans really caught my eye. I was one at one point (luckily I was adopted), so my heart definitely goes out to them, as well.

It’s great that you have an place in your hear for orphans,you are right are parent’s are vital in molding what we grow up to be or not be, I Thank it’s great that you want to start an college scholarship fund for orphans, I took in my cousin’s little girl an little over 12 years ago, her mother my cousin just throw her away she didnt want the little girl who at the time was about 18 month’s old her mother in the last 12 years hasnt shown any reall interest in her child and it’ hard on chelse she want;s an relationship with her mom who doent return those feeling’s iv done my very best in raising cheles she hasnt wanted for anything and there;s not been a day gone by that i havent told her i love her I thank children need to hear there loved, so i ranted on and on, good luck with your plans on your scholar ship plans

It’s great to see that your giving back to the community through these orphans. I do agree that parents are a vital part of a child’s growth, in all ways. So I commend you for you good deeds! My club here at UC Riverside has donated to some charities related to kids but not necessarily orphans. If i find any legit information on charities related to orphans I will def let you know! I just want to let you know that I am a fan of yours and I love all the work you have done. You give me hope for Asian Americans pursuing the entertainment industry!! I think it’s great that you are doing charity work for orphans. My aunt is an adoptive parent to nine and probably fostered around 30+ kids during her time as a foster parent. I remember one boy in particular because he was going to be orphaned. His mother had AIDS and was too sick to take care of him so the state took him away from her. My aunt worked to get them into a hospice so he could be with his mother in her final days. However, that angered the social worker handling his case and that person kept him from being placed back with my aunt and he was shifted off to some total stranger. I hope the groups you are supporting work to keep orphaned children in long term care instead of being shifted around every few months. Where my aunt lived they didn’t like the children to get attached to a particular foster parent so they kept shifting them around. Is it any wonder as adults they have trouble bonding with others? Anyway, keep up the good works.
Hi Iam Divya.came across this blog 2 days back. Many have appreciated your charecter as Han in f&f-Tokyo Drift but I didnt understand why Han had to die in the first place. Can u tell? Do u really reply? Hope u do because this is first time Iam commenting on a blog. Please do and one more thing- I have read what u said about orphaned kids. It is good that u care but go 2 an advanced stage-i.e adopt some or make others adopt and give a new life 2 orphans. Do reply please.

I love to help out the homeless cause i know personally how it felt to be homeless at a point. It is hard for a lot of people, but we can not give up! The orphanhood as social phenomena exists as much as a human society and is the integral part of a civilization. At all timoes wars, epidemics, natural calamity and other reasons lead to the death of parents, owing to children became the orphans. But it is terrible, that nowadays, when every country has reached the considerable standart of live, the quantity of orphans do not decrease. Some mothers throw children in maternity hospital, it is very terrible.
There are many orphans in my country (I live in Russia)/
It is very good, that there are such people as you, who is occupied with this problem.

I’m from Germany. I don’t know what you have; you used your creativity pretty good. Your site turned out great. But you have to explain to me what you mean about Hitler. My Grandmother (my Grandfather was American) and her generation made the terrible mistake, of letting a terrible and cold person take power. And through their mistake we are now unfortunately branded…. But, now back to you. It’s nice to see, that there are still people that are trying to improve the world, helping orphans and children in general. Keep of the good work.

Hi, I think that this is a great thing that you are doing for children. I also think that parents are a very important part in a child’s life and how they turn out as a person and adult. For me my Mother was that person and still is, I do not know what I would do without her. She is my best friend. I donate money and help out at my local animal shelter.
